Hi Chris, Chanel, Edgar and Tiffany....
Welcome to class... I am hosting all of your work and interactive environment for class on this blog. I have found that the format works much better for me than eLearning. In the upper right hand side are the links to your syllabus and rubric. The syllabus is our week by week road map. Each project has a description with visual examples and a link to a video with me demonstrating how to do each project, step by step.
You will need Photoshop. If you would rather work at school, Photoshop is available on all public computers. You can download and install the latest version of Photoshop from the Adobe website here:
http://adobe.com/downloads… Adobe now rents the program for $9.99/month for students.
If you would rather save that money, you can use Photoshop CS2 for free from Adobe.
Here is a link to the syllabus for this class:

The first week will be about getting up to speed in creating your accounts and getting your software image editing program working. We will also start small with the first project listed on the syllabus...
1. The Dot.
Important!.... click on the link In the email I had blogger send you it will be from Jerry (me)... There are instruction on creating an account at blogger and joining the class blog... you don't need to create your own blog... just join the class one..
We have four students in this class... put all of your work here on the blog.
With my wonderful wife, Debbie in France. We will be married for 43 years this June!
All work for the week is due early Monday morning from the previous week. Attendance will be taken at that time. As you know, Albertus has a very strict attendance policy so please don't disappear as each week has 2 attendance records. At 4, the College removes you from the class... :(
There are no tests or papers due in this class.... rather, you will be creating an online portfolio of your work as you move from week to week. Quality AND quantity count. Keeping up with your work on a week to week basis also counts. Everything you need to complete this class successfully can be found in the class syllabus linked from the list of links on the right. There is a direct relationship of your willingness to participate here and the quality of your final grade.
Don't hesitate to call me at home if you are stuck! If you ever have a problem or issue, don't hesitate to email me or call me. I want you to succeed and enjoy this experience.
